Really good training camp. But felt like I wanted to do some "normal" orienteering before the races. Really fun such cool terrain :)

Relay training. Idea was you ran in a train and roughly every 100m the person at the front went to the back of the train. So like a peleton in cycling. Really good for constantly having to adjust your route and keeping in the train but keeping track of where you are at the same time. Really fun :)

Idea was you highlighted on the map where you thought you'd be running fast, slow etc on the map beforehand then compared with gps trace after. Number 1 did not go well. Restarted after one and went ok. Was fun :)

Really fun training session. First did 6x90/30 with the full map which you looked at during the interval, then in the rest copied down the info onto the map you thought you would need. We were able to copy down the control feature and track network beforehand. Then had to run the course. Found I was able to remember a lot more than I managed to draw on my map. Course actually went really well apart from 4. Relied pretty much on my compass and what I could remember as drawing wasn't really representative of what was on the actual map! soo much fun :)
